A former prosecutor for the State of Alaska, I bring a service-oriented perspective to every client I represent. Years in public service taught me the importance of fairness, integrity, and standing up for people during some of the hardest moments in their lives. At the heart of my practice is a genuine enjoyment of helping people and serving my community, which shapes how I listen, advise, and advocate for each client.



My law practice focuses on helping individuals and families protect what matters most through estate planning and personal injury representation. For more than 25 years, I have guided clients through some of life's most difficult moments, whether planning for the future or seeking justice after a serious injury or loss. Over the years, I have practiced law in California, Tennessee, and now Alaska, giving me a broad perspective on how different courts, insurers, and institutions approach both injury and estate matters.

I have handled numerous wrongful death cases, auto collisions, motorcycle crashes, and claims involving sexual abuse by school authorities and other institutions. I also have a growing interest in mold exposure cases, where long‑term health consequences and property damage can be complex and highly technical. This background helps clients understand their options, build strong claims, and pursue meaningful compensation when facing life‑changing harm.

Estate planning is a central part of my practice, and I am committed to making it approachable and strategic-not confusing or overwhelming. I regularly counsel clients on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, with a focus on protecting children, preserving assets, and avoiding unnecessary conflict and expense. As a father of six (five daughters and one son), I understand how important it is to create a plan that reflects your values and provides clarity for the people you love.

That multistate and multidisciplinary experience informs how I develop case strategies, negotiate with insurance companies, and structure estate plans tailored to each client's unique goals. Clients can expect clear communication, practical advice, and a results-oriented approach grounded in real-world experience. My goal in every case is to pair thoughtful legal strategy with effective communication and client‑focused service, so the people I represent feel informed, supported, and confident at each step of the process.
